Terrazzo has been used for centuries in flooring and other surfaces. It is a durable composite made of materials such as crushed marble, granite or sandstone, glass dust, marble dust and Portland cement, water, sand, and colouring. The original Terrazzo surface is rough and is polished in water to achieve strength & a natural marble or granite look.

Elegrande handmade Terrazzo has been made to the highest standard and is frost and crack resistant only when drained and maintained properly.

UV and weather influence the surface of Terrazzo over time, the surface may dry out and fade the colour. Regular treatment of Terrazzo with our special Cadix Stain Stop Plus treatment and Terrazzo Ink will maintain & revive Terrazzo.

Avoid the use of aggressive detergents and contact with substances containing acids.

Sharp objects will scratch the surface of Terrazzo.
