Dispatch Policy

While every effort will be made to ensure that all items shown are in stock we offer no guarantee of availability and this electronic publication does not constitute an offer for sale. Goods are normally dispatched the same day for all orders made before 3pm. If we are unable to despatch your order within 7 days, we will contact you by e-mail or telephone with an estimated despatch date and offer you the option of cancelling the order. Upon dispatch an automated email is sent to the email address provided during the sale transaction, this email confirms the dispatch and has full courier tracking information.

 

Carriage & Receiving of Goods

If a signature is required:

Upon receipt of your purchase immediately inspect for visible signs or concealed damage before signing for the goods.

Do not sign for unchecked goods or sign as 'unchecked' as UK Water Features will not be held responsible for damaged goods signed for as 'unchecked'.

Please inspect the shipment immediately. Insist that visible damage is noted on the delivery documents.

In case of damage please notify us immediately by sending a photograph of the damage to info@ukwaterfeatures.com

Prices and Tax

The price shown for the goods includes postage and packing unless specifically stated otherwise. Any charges for postage and packing are shown in the Checkout once you have entered the country and method of delivery and before you are asked to confirm the order.

The price you pay will include VAT for all deliveries within the European Union.


Cancellation and Returns

If you are not satisfied with the goods you have a right to cancel the contract within 14 days (starting the day after delivery is made - this is know as a ''Cooling Off Period''), return the goods and receive either a full refund of your monies or replacement goods.

Please send an e-mail or call us before you return goods, telling us that you are returning the goods and why.

 

The Consumer Rights Act 2015

As a business we follow the recently introduced Consumer Rights Act 2015. An aim to try and simplify shoppers rights when purchasing items online.

  • If your product develops a fault in the first 30 days you are entitled to reject the item and get a full refund (Please contact our customer care team if you have any issue with items purchased from one of our mail order websites)
  • After the 30 day period you are no longer legally entitled to a full refund if your item(s) develop a fault
  • Outside the 30 day right to reject period you have to give the retailer (In this case Direct Global Trading Ltd) one opportunity to repair or replace the goods.
  • If a repair or replacement is not possible then you have a further right to reject the goods and seek a partial or full refund.
  • If a product develops a fault within the first six months it is presumed to have been there from the time of purchase, you have the right to a repair or replacement. If the repair fails or cannot take place you are entitled to a full refund or price reduction if you wish to keep the goods.
  • After the six month period it is the responsibility of the customer to prove the product was faulty at the time of delivery.
  • As a retailer we are fully responsible for your item(s) until they are in your possession or in the possession of someone appointed by you to accept them. We are responsible for the service provided by the couriers, the delivery firm is not liable.
  • Deliveries are to be made to customers within 30 days of purchase, after this time frame you have the right to cancel the order for a full refund.

The colour of goods may vary slightly from that shown on the website due to limitations of browser software and monitors.

 

Privacy & Security

All confidential information, including credit card details, are held securely (by trusted third party systems - Worldpay, Google Checkout or Paypal) and only transmitted in encrypted form. Customer details are not passed to third parties and are used only in accordance with the Data Protection Act.


Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages and expenses (including legal fees), arising out of your use of this site.

The Contract will be governed by the laws of England and Wales and the parties to the Contract submit to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.

None of the above Terms and Conditions affects your statutory consumer rights.

These terms and conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with English law, and any disputes relating to these terms and conditions will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
