A bit about the fountain...

Water is pumped up the inside of the Lily Lady from the reservoir below and pours out of the ornate jug she is holding with both arms. The water pours into the Lily lake below home to three large Lily pads and flowers. The fountain is hand crafted by skilled craftsmen to reflect the texture and colour tones of real stone.

To enable the fountain to also be enjoyed during the evening too white LED lights illuminate the pool at night.

This feature is made from a durable resin stone and fully self contained. Kelkay fountains are really easy to install, after removing from the box you should have the water feature up and running within 5 minutes.

Caring for your water feature :

Fill the fountain with sufficient water to ensure the pump is well submersed. We advise that you clean and top up the water on a regular basis.

Adding Algae Stopper to the fountain will avoid the build-up of algae and keep the water clean and clear. Algae Stopper can be added to your shopping basket as an accessory.

To clean the fountain we advise using Fountain Grime and Lime Cleaner, this can also be added to your basket. Always shut off the power before cleaning and maintaining the pump. Never allow the fountain pump to run dry.
It is not recommended to leave the fountain running constantly. We suggest turning the fountain on/off when required.

Preparing your water feature for the Winter :

During the winter never allow ice to form in the bowls as the force of the ice forming will crack the bowls. Drain and clean all bowls etc. and apply a Kelkay Fountain Protection Cover (This can be added to your shopping basket) or for total protection and prolong the life of the paint finish, drain the fountain and store indoors.

The pump should be disconnected from the mains supply, removed from the fountain and cleaned by following the instructions which come with each fountain.

During the winter time we would always suggest draining your water feature and covering with a Fountain Protection Cover (The Lily Lady requires a Medium Fountain Cover), this protects the fountain from harsh weather and prolongs its life in your garden. To reduce the chance of Algae build up why not also add a bottle of Algae Stopper to your basket – this will not harm animals or birds and removes and prevents algae and bacteria.
