Set Up Instructions for Massarelli Four Tier Gozo Fountain on Petal Pool Water Feature

Open the bag containing the pump kit P22503. In the kit you will find:

• 40225 (225 gallon per hour pump)
• rubber stopper
• 27" long piece of 3/4" clear tubing
  
  1. Place the pool on a firm and level area where fountain will remain.
  
  2. Find the pump, the 3/4" clear tubing 27" long and the rubber stopper. Attach the piece of 3/4" clear tubing 27" long onto
  the outlet side of the pump. Place the pump in the pump house located in the center of pool. Run the plug end of the
  power cord down the PVC pipe located in the pump house. Retrieve cord from under pool and place in groove in bottom
  of pool. Slip the rubber stopper onto the power cord with the smaller end facing away from the pump. Insert the rubber
  stopper snugly into the PVC pipe. Make sure the pump is seated on the bottom of the pump house. Adjust the position of
  the rubber stopper on the power cord if necessary.
  
  3. To level pool, place the level on the top rim of the pump house located in the center of the pool. Level in (2) Two
  directions left to right and front to back. Shim if needed.
  
  4. Find the drain plug and insert snugly into the drain insert located in the pool portion of the fountain. Remove any tape
  and or dirt from the drain insert before you insert the drain plug.
  
  5. Find the round disc spacer. Run the 3/4” clear tubing up thru the center hole and position it on the pumphouse located
  in the center of the pool.
  
  6. Starting with the largest to the smallest shell, stack and position each shell on the fountain running the 3/4” clear tubing
  up through the hole located in the center of each shell. Level each shell as stated in step 3.
  
  Each shell is marked with the item number in the center of the shell.
  3104S is SHELL #1
  3103S is SHELL #2 After you have positioned shell #2 on the fountain cut the 3/4” clear tubing four inches above the
  center housing of that shell. Position the last two shells onto the fountain.
  3102S is SHELL #3
  3101S is SHELL #4
  
  7. Fill each shell and the pool with tap water and plug pump into a 110VAC GFCI protected outlet. Adjust water flow to
  the statue or finial using the dial type flow control located on the front of the pump until the desired result is achieved.
